However, the price of it, whether Xiaomi gain? According to the findings revealed by the institute Force Trend analytic, Xiaomi get enough profit at that price. They say that the phone uses the MediaTek MT6589 processor that requires only the material cost of 85 USD.
They say that the MediaTek MT6589 processor provides 20 percent share. While the 4.7-inch IPS display that has a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels accounted for 22 percent cost share. The screen also comes with a pixel density of 312 ppi, and better than similar priced smartphone which has a density of 220ppi.
In addition, Trend Force also said that Xiaomi is able to better manage their inventory. This is evidenced by the 1GB of RAM, 8MP main camera and Android Jelly Bean OS 4.2 on this phone. Yet at the same price, would be very difficult to find a phone with these specs.
