Acer now Stop the Use of Thunderbolt and USB 3.0 Choosing to Wear

Intel has just introduced the second-generation Thunderbolt interface that offers two times higher speed than USB 3.0. But it did not make the Acer notebook manufacturers as one of the world impressed and will be using Thunderbolt in its products.

Quoted from Cnet, Acer revealed that they were not going to use Thunderbolt on notebook output. Instead they will use as a replacement USB 3.0 Thunderbolt.

The main reason of using USB 3.0 rather than Thunderbolt is compatibility and price implementation. Acer says that USB 3.0 offers a price that is not too expensive and is a good alternative.
