Government of India Suspicious Applications WeChat Could Threaten Cyber Security
Indian government is now reportedly investigating the messenger application WeChat originating from China. Such an investigation could be conducted because WeChat provide cyber security threat in the country.
Not described the type of threat that could result from the application WeChat. However, the results of these investigations should be the basis of whether or not the application WeChat operating in India. It is not possible the investigation will also make application WeChat can not operate permanently in India.
Anxiety Indian government for such services is not the first time. Previously, they've also done a similar move against BlackBerry Messenger service which is owned by the BlackBerry.
